I'm building a PC with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor and 32 GB of RAM, primarily for schoolwork, but I'd like to do some video editing as well. I'm wondering if the RTX 4060 is sufficient for 1080p video editing, or if I really need to invest in the RTX 4070 instead.

What editing software are you planning to use? The requirements can vary quite a bit between different programs.
The RTX 4060 should handle video editing quite well. It's not the top-of-the-line option, but it’s definitely capable for your needs.
Thanks! As long as it gets the job done, I'm good with that.
I’m thinking of using DaVinci Resolve since my old PC only has integrated graphics.
