Hey everyone! My iPhone 13 finally died on me, and it won't even start up while it's charging. My dad is planning to take it to an Apple Store on Tuesday, but I'm a bit anxious about how long the battery replacement will take. Since I can't access anything on my phone right now, I'm worried about blocking my bank apps and stuff in case something happens. Do you think the repair will be quick, or might I need to leave my phone overnight at the store? I've got classes and work, so I won't be around when my dad takes it in.

Typically, getting a battery replaced at an Apple Store is pretty quick, usually around the same day. Your dad should ask at the store just to be sure, since they might have specific timeframes depending on how busy they are.
If you haven't already, it might be worth trying a different charger to see if that helps. But for a battery replacement, you should expect it to take about an hour to 1.5 hours. Just make sure to book an appointment to save time, and check if they have the battery in stock!
I did try my cousin's charger today, and it worked! But I think I definitely need a new battery because it charges up and then dies within minutes. Might need to look into getting a new charger too.
