Should I Choose the SN770 or SN7100 for Gaming and Windows?

I'm looking to buy a 500GB SSD for Windows and a 1TB SSD for gaming, and I'm interested in Western Digital's products. I was planning on getting the SN770, but I can't find a 500GB version available anymore. I noticed that the SN7100 lacks DRAM, and I'm wondering if that will affect performance for gaming or running Windows. Would it be wise to go with the SN7100 for Windows and the SN770 for gaming? Or should I just stick with the SN7100 for both?

SSDs can work just fine without DRAM. I have an older Corsair QLC SSD, and it loads faster than many others in games. Honestly, if you're looking to save some cash, you might want to consider a more affordable 2TB drive instead.

I’d recommend just going with whichever option is cheaper. Sometimes saving a few bucks is the best approach!
