Hey everyone! I'm 14 and excited to finally build my first PC for gaming and CAD design. I've been planning this $1500 build for some time, and since every dollar counts for me, I want to make sure I've picked the right parts. I also want to know if the case I've selected is a good fit. Here's a link to my part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/79pn4p. Thanks for your thoughts!

I recommend holding off a bit if you can! Amazon Prime Day is coming up from July 8-11, and you could snag some good deals during those sales to stretch your budget further. It’s often worth the wait!

Yup, I was planning on that!

Your build is looking solid, but I'd suggest upgrading to the 7600 processor and going for the 6000MHz CL30 RAM instead for better performance. Just a couple of tweaks could make a big difference!

That case you're looking at is actually pretty great! I have a server in the same model and found it super easy to work in. If I were you, I’d upgrade the RAM to a 6000MHz CL30 set if your budget allows it. Those usually perform better. Also, if you're looking for a good CPU, the 5800X3D is a solid option without breaking the bank. Just make sure your total comes under $1500, not including a monitor and speakers!

Check if there's a Micro Center near you. They often have great bundles like a CPU/Motherboard/ram deal for the 7700X at around $350. It could save you a lot!

Unfortunately, the closest one is three states away, so that's not happening soon.

For CAD work, AMD GPUs perform really well, particularly those with ample VRAM. I've crafted a similar build that would suit you, which you can check out here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dCVXt3. If that’s not your style, I found a cheaper option that doesn't compromise on performance: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VZKLXR. Newegg has some nice bundle offers right now, so don't miss out!

Got it, I'll look for those deals!

Just remember to pick a case that fits your GPU, it's crucial!
