Best KVM Solution for My Work-from-Home and Home Setup

I'm looking for advice on setting up a KVM switch to manage both my work and home computer systems. I currently work from home with four monitors: two budget models for work and two high-quality LG 27GL850-B gaming monitors for my home setup. I'd like to simplify things by using a KVM that allows me to switch between my work laptop and my home desktop, utilizing just the two nicer monitors for both setups. My work laptop connects to a docking station via USB-C, and I need to connect both monitors, a keyboard, and a mouse to it without needing the audio from my home speakers during work hours. I have little experience with this tech and would appreciate any suggestions on how to set this up effectively.

That LG monitor you’ve got has multiple HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. You could connect your work laptop and home desktop to different ports, and some monitors even switch sources automatically when a signal is detected. If not, check for software controls to manage inputs. As for your keyboard and mouse, if they're wireless, see if they can connect to multiple devices easily. Otherwise, you might consider using the USB ports on the monitor with a USB switch for toggling the control between your systems.

I prefer using wired devices too! I found this KVM switch that looks promising: [https://www.avaccess.com/products/idock-c10/](https://www.avaccess.com/products/idock-c10/). Anyone have experience with this brand?
