Hey everyone, I really need help! I think I've been hacked on my Steam account and email. Somehow, the hacker changed my email to theirs using my account. The worst part is I've had this account for years, full of memories—even though I don't have any money on it. Here's what I've figured out so far: they added their own email through mine, I still have access to my original email and proof the account is mine, and I've changed my email password. They also unfriended my friends and I didn't even have the Steam app installed. I'm just really lost and desperate here—what should I do?

You should definitely reach out to Steam Support. They have protocols for these types of situations. Also, if you’ve used the same email and password for other accounts, change those too! Consider setting up two-factor authentication for added security in the future.
First things first, you need to contact Steam Support right away! They’re really good at helping people who’ve been hacked. Since you still have access to your original email, they can likely verify your ownership and help you get your account back. Just make sure to explain your situation clearly to them.
Totally agree! I had a similar issue, and they were able to help me out pretty quickly. Just be patient with the process.
Don’t panic! Steam Support has got your back. If you explain that you were hacked and you’ve changed your passwords, they might be able to reverse any changes the hacker made. Just provide as much info as you can to prove it’s your account!
Good point about 2FA! It really helps, even though it’s not foolproof.
