I'm about to build my first PC and I want it to run graphically demanding games, especially Souls games, without any performance issues. I currently have an Alienware Aurora R12 but it's been a nightmare for the last 3-4 years. I'm looking for advice on my parts list and potential upgrades. Here's what I have so far:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **Motherboard**: ASUS B650-E TUF Gaming
- **RAM**: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 (part of a bundle, so I'm unsure about changing these)
- **GPU**: Gigabyte GAMING Radeon RX 7600 XT 16 GB Video Card
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVME SSD
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A650BN 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
- **Case**: NZXT H7 Flow (2024) ATX Mid Tower Case
The total cost is around $1181.78 before tax. Any suggestions to improve my build would be awesome!

I’d suggest swapping your GPU for the 9060 XT 16GB instead of the 7600 XT. It’ll give you a better performance boost for gaming at higher settings. Also, consider dropping the current bundle for a $400 7700X bundle instead. The performance increase could be significant! Maybe get the RTX 5070 as well? That can really help you maintain high FPS in games without breaking the bank.
Can you share the link to the new bundle? I can only find a $350 one on Micro Center. And why is the 7700X and 5070 a better choice? Is it mainly about performance or price?
