I just got a new SSD to speed things up because my laptop's HDD is really slow. I'm planning to install Windows on the SSD and then remove it from the HDD. Will this work without issues, or am I making a mistake?

You'll be good to go! Just use the media creation tool to download the Windows ISO to a USB drive and install it on the SSD. Once that's all set up, you can wipe the HDD. Just be careful to double-check which drives you’re working on, and make sure you back up any important data first!

Is wiping the HDD necessary, or can I skip that? If it has to be done, I'm okay with doing it.
