I recently got an SD card reader, but it stopped working after I accidentally sat on it. I'm looking for some tips or suggestions on how to fix it. Has anyone had this happen and managed to resolve it?

It's a shame but it sounds like your reader is probably broken. If you have access to the internals, you could try opening it up to figure out what's wrong. Sometimes connections can come loose, and if you're handy, you might be able to solder them back together. But if the motherboard is cracked, it might be time to say goodbye to it!
Honestly, you might just need to buy a new one. Sometimes these things are not worth the hassle of trying to fix. Just keep an eye on where you're sitting!
I checked inside and didn’t see anything broken. Plus, I wouldn't know how to solder if I did!
