Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advice on my first PC build. I plan to use it mainly for school and work, but I also want to do a bit of gaming on the side. I've put together a build on PcPartPicker, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Here's an alternate build that might work better for you: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/9XfW6Q. If you order the CPU from AliExpress, the 8400F is about $100 and the 7500F is around $135. The latter is more efficient for online gaming. It might be worth considering since building on AM4 for over $500 isn't ideal.

I see what you mean. I’ll switch to the 8400F. Also, do you have any motherboard recommendations?

Your build looks solid overall, especially for the budget! One suggestion would be to consider a GPU with more VRAM, but finding a 16GB card without exceeding your budget might be tough. Still, you’ve made some good choices here!

Pretty good build for the price range! If you're looking to save a bit, you might want to switch to a more affordable mATX motherboard. Also, if you can stretch your budget a tiny bit, the Ryzen 5700X3D would give you a performance boost.
