Hey everyone! I'm considering buying the Gigabyte B650 Eagle motherboard to pair with my 9800X3D, but I feel a bit lost with all the options out there. Can anyone share their thoughts on whether this board is a solid choice or if there are any drawbacks I should be aware of, especially regarding future-proofing? Thanks a lot!

The Gigabyte B650 Eagle is okay if you're on a budget. It’s got the basics you need, but if you can stretch your budget a bit, I’d recommend the Gigabyte B850 GAMING X WIFI6E. It has better features like more effective M.2 slots with heatsinks, making it look sleek without the annoying quick-release retainers.

I appreciate that! I’ve heard that the B850’s SSD slots are under the GPU though. Does that really cause any issues, or is it overblown?
