Help Needed for My New PC Build!

Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a new PC since it's been over 10 years since my last one, and I'm pretty lost with all the new components out there. I need a workstation that can handle video and photo editing, some 3D modeling with programs like SolidWorks, and light gaming (nothing too intense!).

My budget is around $1500 to $2000, with a preference for staying closer to $1500. I've put together a parts list and would love your feedback! Here's the link to what I've got so far: [part list link]. I also updated my list with a new cooler and PSU which you can check here: [new part list link]. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Consider getting a less expensive CPU cooler; a $50 Thermalright AIO would work just fine. Just a heads up, with the North case, if you front mount a 360mm AIO, it might limit your GPU length to 300mm. The PNY GPU you're looking at is slightly over that, so installation could be tricky. You might want to pick a different case that allows for top mounting the AIO instead. Also, you don't really need a platinum PSU—instead, a $120 NZXT C850 Gold would be more than sufficient!

Thanks for the tips! I was actually considering switching to an air cooler, so that could save me some space problems. Do you think going with air is better than a smaller AIO? Also, I’ll definitely look into the Gold PSU!
