Hey everyone! I recently made a big upgrade from an RTX 2070 Super to an RTX 5080, and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the new settings available in-game. To give you some context, I'm using a 9800X3D processor and a Dell monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate and Free Sync. Here are a few specific questions I have:

1. With a 144Hz refresh rate, is it worth limiting my frame rate, or is any FPS above 144 just wasted?
2. Should I use V-Sync in games?
3. What about G-Sync? How do I enable it, and is it compatible with Free Sync?
4. Is Frame Generation worth using? How do I decide how much to use, especially since I'm getting high FPS?
5. Should I always have Reflex on with Boost, or does it depend on the game?
6. Lastly, is DLSS necessary if I'm already achieving good frame rates on ultra settings? It was super helpful on my 2070, but I'm not sure now. Thanks for any guidance!
