Hey everyone! I'm a bit lost when it comes to choosing the right graphics card for my PC. I'm primarily looking to play the latest AAA games with decent graphics and good frame rates, alongside some strategy games and indie titles. I've seen a few cards mentioned as budget-friendly options: RTX 4060, RTX 5060, RX 9060 XT, and Intel Arc B570. Could anyone provide insights in simple terms on which of these would be the best fit for my needs and what the pros and cons of each are? Thanks a ton!

Have you thought about the resolution you’ll be gaming at? If keeping costs low is a priority, go for the cheapest option that suits your needs, but if budget allows, get the best one.
When shopping for a GPU, remember that the first number indicates the generation. Like with Nvidia’s series, the next significant number points to its performance class. If you’re gaming, AMD usually offers competitive performance for less. Just consider what resolution and frame rate you want; that’s crucial.
That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for breaking it down!
The RX 9060 XT is currently the best bang for your buck! You can comfortably play any game at 1080p and even 1440p with it. It's a solid choice if you're looking for good performance without breaking the bank.
Awesome, thanks for the tip!
Just make sure to go for the 16GB version if you can!
Definitely go for the RX 9060 XT. It offers great value and performance for gaming. Nvidia might have its perks, but AMD usually gives you more bang for your buck in this range.
Thanks, this is super helpful! It's challenging to find clear, basic info about GPUs online.
For anything above $300, you should aim for at least 12GB of VRAM. That makes the 4060 and 5060 pretty much not worth considering. The 16GB RX 9060 XT outperforms both Intel Arc options, so only go for Intel if it's significantly cheaper.
1080p would suffice for me personally 🙂
