I'm putting together a new PC for both gaming and productivity since I'm a software developer and a casual gamer who enjoys movies in 4K. I'm looking for advice on which motherboard to choose since I feel it's the most crucial part of the build. I'm also wondering if 100Hz is sufficient for my monitor. I'm leaning towards a 34-inch ultra-wide for a future sim racing setup, but I'm concerned about OLED burn-in since I might inadvertently damage it. Furthermore, I want to confirm if my parts list is solid for my needs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I took a look at your parts list, and I've made some modifications, including a solid 1440p OLED monitor option. Just check it out [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MYVjkf). It might be a bit pricier, but it's worth it if you're looking for vibrant colors and great visuals!
You might want to consider downgrading to a cheaper CPU like the 9600X and invest more in a better GPU instead. The 9700X is great for tasks like streaming, but if you're mainly gaming, it might not be worth the extra cost. Also, I'd hold off on getting an ultrawide monitor unless you can afford a higher-end GPU like the RX 9070 or RTX 5070 because they can make a big difference in the gaming experience. Instead of having two M.2 SSDs, go for one solid 2TB SSD, and for your PSU, the Corsair RM750e is a better value. Lastly, you don’t need those expensive keyboards or separate thermal paste, as most coolers come with good enough paste included.
Thanks for the insights! I really appreciate it. I'm definitely considering going for the RTX 5070 now. I see your point about the monitor; I really just want that wide panel for the sim racing in the future. I also prefer having dual SSDs for dual booting Windows and Linux, which is why I thought to go with two. And I didn’t know the cooler came with thermal paste, that’s super helpful!
Thanks for linking that! I do think a big screen will benefit my future gaming needs, especially for sim racing. Just not sure I need 200+ fps since I’m more of a casual player. Your suggestions on the GPU and motherboard are really helpful!
