I'm looking to upgrade my current laptop with a new PC build mainly for video editing using Premiere Pro and After Effects. My budget was originally 60,000, but I've decided to go ahead with the 25,000 I've saved up. Here's the build I'm considering, and I'm keen to hear your thoughts!

- **RAM**: Adata XPG Spectrix D50 16GB (8GBX2) DDR4 3200MHz RGB
- **CASE**: Ant Esports Elite 1000 PS (M-ATX) Mini Tower Cabinet - Black
- **MOTHERBOARD**: MSI B450M-A Pro Max II
- **STORAGE**: Adata Legend 710 512GB PCIe Gen3 NVMe M.2 SSD
- **PSU**: Corsair CX Series CX550 – 550 Watt 80 PLUS Bronze
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega 11 Graphics (Up to 4.2GHz)

This is my first build, so any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads up, this build is missing a dedicated GPU, which is crucial for video editing. You might also want to double your RAM since editing can be quite demanding on your system. Consider planning for future upgrades as you go.

Trust me, I know. I'll definitely be upgrading this with time! Tbh, this would be like a massive upgrade from what I currently work with.

One thing to note is that the Adata Legend 710 uses QLC flash, which may not stand up to heavy usage over time. It might slow down after a bit of use. Consider switching to a TLC drive like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3, WD Blue SN580, or TeamGroup MP44L for better durability in the long run.

Thanks for the advice! I think I'll go with the SN5000!

You might want to check out Intel for video editing since Quick Sync is super handy. Also, I suggest bumping up your RAM and thinking about additional storage since that 512GB SSD might fill up fast!

I know Intel is generally better but motherboards for it seem to be more expensive so Ryzen seems good enough. And yeah I'll be upgrading the RAM and I have an external hard drive!
