I'm looking to upgrade my gaming setup with a focus on 1440p at 120 Hz and VR gaming (using a Quest 3). I've got a solid build including a 7800X3D CPU, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, and an ASUS TUF A620M WiFi motherboard. The 9070 XT is priced at 150 CAD less than the 5070 Ti. Given my needs, which one would be the better choice? Any insights on how they compare in terms of performance and features?

I just got the 9070 XT last weekend, and I feel like the 5070 Ti doesn’t justify its price increase. For gaming at your specs, the performance of the 9070 XT should be plenty!
If you're going for pure performance, they’re pretty close, but you have to weigh if you think DLSS 4 and the extra features of the 5070 Ti are worth that extra cash. Honestly, the 9070 XT is a great option to save some money!
That’s a great question! Depending on your gaming needs, the 9800X3D could definitely give you an extra boost.
In my opinion, if you’ve got the budget for the 5070 Ti, go for it. Its Nvidia features and performance are hard to beat, especially as they tend to improve over time. But if you're okay with a little less power, the 9070 XT is a decent choice as well!
While the 5070 Ti is a good GPU, it’s really about what features you need. If you’re just looking for performance, the 9070 XT offers similar capabilities at a more budget-friendly price. I'd say if you’re budget-conscious, go with the 9070 XT!
Yeah, but if I can save that money, would it make sense to spend an extra $100 more for a 9800X3D instead of sticking with the 7800X3D?
