My New PC Isn’t Posting—What Could Be Wrong?

I recently built a new PC because my old one died, but now it won't post. When I power it on, it gets stuck on a yellow light, which I believe indicates a RAM issue. Here are my specs:

- **Motherboard:** ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI
- **CPU:** AMD 7700X
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- **GPU:** MSI RX 6700 XT MECH
- **RAM:** TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHZ
- **SSD:** Acer Predator GM7 1TB

I've tried several solutions:
- Updating the BIOS
- Reseating the RAM sticks
- Clearing the CMOS
- Booting with a single RAM stick in all slots and both sticks separately
- Loosening the cooler screws (which helped someone else with a similar issue)

However, I noticed my RAM isn't listed on the compatibility page for my motherboard. Despite this, I found someone who had success using the same combination for a few days. Should I explore other troubleshooting methods or consider returning the RAM? Has anyone dealt with something like this?

You might want to remove the GPU and see if it posts without it. Sounds a bit odd, but it’s worked for a lot of people. And don’t stress too much about the QVL list, it's not always reliable.

The compatibility list just shows which RAM sticks have been tested, it doesn't rule out other options. Based on what you've described, it might be worth considering if the motherboard is faulty.

I checked ASUS's compatibility page, and it turns out my RAM is actually listed. Could it be a bad CPU or motherboard that's causing my issue?

Have you thought about memory training? It can take a while, like up to 30 minutes to complete, so if you haven't done that yet, it could be worth a shot.

I tried waiting 15 minutes after the BIOS update, and just gave it 30 minutes with no luck. Still stuck!
