I just built a new PC, but when I try to start it, I get a message saying 'no bootable device found'. I've also noticed that the boot light on my motherboard is red. What could be causing this? Do I need to install an operating system or is there something else I should check?

It looks like your PC isn't detecting any bootable device. Have you actually installed Windows on your new drive? If you're in the installation process, it might help to try plugging the USB into different ports. Also, make sure your BIOS is set to recognize your boot device correctly!
So I’m kinda clueless here—do I really have to buy Windows separately?
