I'm looking at a gaming PC that someone is selling, and I'm wondering if it's a good setup for gaming not just now, but also into 2025 and even 2027. Here are the specs:

- **Processor**: Intel i9-12900F
- **Cooler**: Hydro 240p RGB
- **GPU**: RTX 3080 10GB
- **RAM**: 32GB DDR5 5200 RGB
- **Storage**: 1TB NVME SSD
- **Motherboard**: B760m1700 DDR5
- **Power Supply**: 650W 80 Plus Gold
- **Case**: Game RGB

The total price is $1,556. Is that a reasonable price, or do I need to watch out for getting scammed?

If you're in a region where these parts are more expensive, this could be reasonable, but generally, I think you might want to build your own. The i9 is quite dated already for gaming, and the 3080 might not hold up as well against newer GPUs. Looking into cheaper options like the AM5 9600X could save you money in the long run.

So you're saying getting a newer architecture could actually give me better performance? And what's your take on the GPU?

It might be a bit pricey, especially if those are used parts. It's always good to compare with the market where you are. If it's a small business, they might not have the best prices. Have you checked for similar builds?

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out what's standard here. Would it be better to buy parts separately from Amazon?
