I've had my PC for about three years now, and it's still running smoothly. However, I'm considering upgrading my graphics card for better performance. Here are my current specs: Intel Core i5-12400F 2.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-3600 RAM, a Crucial P3 Plus 1 TB NVMe SSD, and an XFX Speedster SWFT 210 Radeon RX 6600 8 GB video card. I'm curious if there's a better GPU available within a budget of around $400 to $500. Any recommendations?

It seems like your CPU is solid! You might want to look at the RX 6700 XT. It would definitely boost your performance. Just make sure it fits your case and your PSU can handle it!
I could spend about $400 to $500 for the GPU.
I just picked up a 5070 for around £499, but do check your power supply. You really should have at least 650W for it to work properly.
What’s your budget for the GPU? Depending on what you want to spend, you could open up more options.
Are you referring to the Sapphire Technology Pulse Radeon RX 6700 XT? I see a few different models out there.
