I'm trying to find the right Bluetooth M.2 card to install in my ASRock Z390 Pro4 motherboard, which has an M.2 key E (2230 type) slot. I mainly use Ethernet for internet, so I'm mostly focused on getting a good Bluetooth option. Can anyone recommend a card that would work well with this setup?

One of the easiest solutions is to grab a PCIe WiFi and Bluetooth expansion card. Just plug it in, install the drivers, and make sure to attach the antennas for full connectivity. However, since you want to save your PCIe slots for other uses, there are M.2 Bluetooth cards available too, so don't overlook those! If you’re leaning towards M.2, just check compatibility before getting one.
I get where you're coming from, but have you considered keeping your PCIe slots open? There are some great M.2 cards specifically for Bluetooth that could fit your needs without clogging up your expansion slots. Just make sure it’s compatible with your motherboard!
Yeah, that’s what I want to avoid. I’d rather go for an M.2 card since it frees up the PCIe slots for other hardware.
