My PC won’t start after a forced shutdown during an update, what can I do?

I accidentally powered off my computer while it was updating and now it won't turn back on. When I press the power button, the power light turns on, but nothing else happens—my mouse's RGB lights don't light up either. I'm using Windows and really need some help getting it back to life!

First off, check if your PC has power—are you seeing any lights or sounds? If it seems like it’s getting power but not booting, try holding down the power button for about 5 seconds, let go, and then press it normally again.

Another thing to try is unplugging your PC from the outlet for about 5 minutes. Sometimes a hard reset helps. After plugging it back in, see if it boots up. If there are issues, you might need to go into recovery options to remove the last updates.

Thanks, I’ll give that a shot and see what happens!
