I'm in the market for an AMD 9070 XT and came across a Gigabyte model for $950. However, I've heard some reliability concerns about the Gigabyte brand. There's also a Sapphire option available for $1000. Is the quality difference significant enough to justify spending the extra cash, or is the Gigabyte card a decent choice?

What makes you think the Gigabyte card is unreliable? Sapphire does have superior cooling, but good airflow in your case can mitigate that. For the extra $50, better cooling is about the only real advantage you'll get.
From my experience, brands that focus on AMD graphics cards, like Sapphire or XFX, tend to offer better quality than the more general brands. Paying an extra $50 for a better built card might be worth it if you’re up for long-term performance.
There's not a huge gap between the two. Sapphire specializes in AMD cards, while Gigabyte is a reputable brand too. You’ll get a factory warranty with either, which is a plus if something goes wrong.
