How to Fix Entra AD Join Server Error 80190190?

I'm facing an issue while trying to join some devices directly to Entra AD after isolating them from our on-premise domain. These devices were initially connected through hybrid AD join. After removing them, I attempted to join them again using Entra AD, but I keep getting the error code 80190190. I've tried different networks that don't have firewalls and used various user accounts for the join task, but the error persists. I've checked the device enrollment restrictions and conditional access settings. The audit logs in Entra show the device gets joined and then immediately deleted. Has anyone encountered this issue or have any suggestions?

I can't offer much on that specific error, but just a heads up: it's generally not supported to convert from AD Join to Entra ID Join without wiping the device. Just something to keep in mind!

That's interesting! I've managed to switch about 30 laptops from AD to Entra ID without doing a full wipe. I just unjoined them from the domain first.
