I've been experiencing a strange issue where my internet disconnects for a moment every night around 2:43 AM. During this time, all my streams lag, and my games time out. It only lasts for a second, and refreshing the page gets everything back to normal. I'm not really into tech stuff, so I'm hoping someone can explain what might be causing this irritating little glitch.

Could it be something like a DHCP lease expiration? Some people have found success by extending the renewal period to once a week instead of daily.
It sounds like it could be related to your ISP's scheduled maintenance. Sometimes they reboot devices upstream, which can cause brief outages like the one you're experiencing. This seems to happen in a time slot that many ISPs use for maintenance, usually between 2:30 AM and 3:30 AM.
Confirmed! I’ve had the same issue with my internet provider.
Or maybe it’s a ghost? Kidding aside, it’s likely an issue with your WiFi router or any managed devices that might be applying updates around that time.
Time to call a technopriest!
Have you checked if your router has a daily reboot setting? Some routers are set to reboot themselves at certain times, which might explain the brief cut in service.
How efficient is your router if it can reboot in just a second?
Every day at this time? Yeah, that’s definitely something an ISP might do.
