I'm contemplating an upgrade to my current PC setup and would love some advice or input from you guys! Here's a quick overview of what I'm working with:
Current vs New Parts:
- **CPU:** Upgrading from AMD Ryzen 7 2700X to AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **Motherboard:** Switching from ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming to ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI
- **RAM:** Moving from 16GB DDR4-2400 Corsair Vengeance LPX to Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MT/s CL36
- **GPU:** Upgrading from NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB to a 16GB XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT Qick 319 Core
Additionally, I'm planning to get a 650W power supply to support this setup. My budget is capped at $1,200. Thanks in advance for your help!

If you're into competitive shooters and gaming at 1080p, this setup should be solid. But for more demanding games at higher resolutions, you might want to prioritize a stronger GPU and stick with the AM4 platform for a bit longer. What do you think?
Are you getting the 'Palit Dual OC' version of the GPU? Also, what games do you usually play and at what resolution? That can really affect what your best upgrade path should be.
Your budget looks good for this upgrade! If you're open to it, consider going for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D instead of the 7800X3D. You could save some money there and use the difference to improve your GPU. Just a thought!
Yeah, sticking with the AM4 might save me some cash. Any recommendations for a solid GPU upgrade?
