Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC on a budget since I don't use it too often, but I think a little boost would be nice. Currently, I'm running a Ryzen 5 1600 with 24GB of RAM and a GTX 1050 Ti. I'm primarily interested in upgrading the graphics card and potentially the CPU too. I've found an Arc B580 for 250€ which requires upgrading to a Ryzen 3000 CPU or better. I'm considering the following upgrades:
- Motherboard: Asrock B450M Pro4
- CPU: Ryzen 5 1600 to Ryzen 7 5700X
- GPU: GTX 1050 Ti to Arc B580
- A better CPU cooler to help with the setup.
Altogether, it would cost me around 400€, breaking down to 90€ for the CPU, 45€ for the cooler, and 250€ for the GPU. Just wanted to know if you think this upgrade path is worth it, or if you have any better suggestions!

For the cooler, you should definitely consider the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE. The SE version is just a tad shorter, but it performs just as well!
If you can snag the B580 for that price, it’s a solid choice! If it's out of reach, the 9060XT 16GB would be a good alternative, though it usually runs around 350-380€.
Yeah, I'm aiming to keep costs down, so the B580 is really appealing!
Looks like a good plan! Just don’t forget to check if your motherboard needs a BIOS update to support the Ryzen 7 5700X; you might need to do that first.
That sounds great, I was actually thinking about getting that one!
