Choosing the Best Air Cooler for My i7 12th Gen Build

Hey everyone! I'm building a new PC after 8 years and I've settled on an Intel i7 12700K for my CPU. For the air cooler, I'm considering two options: the Arctic Freezer 36 and the Thermalright Phantom Spirit. My case is the Fractal Torrent Compact and my motherboard is the Asus Prime Z690-A. Any recommendations? I'm not looking for anything overly fancy, just something reliable to get the job done. Thanks in advance!

I'd go with the Phantom Spirit. It's really well-regarded and cools efficiently without being too loud. It should fit nicely in your case too!

Have you thought about switching to a Ryzen CPU instead? The Ryzen 5 7600 is a solid choice if you haven't bought the Intel yet. Just saying!

I almost switched to AMD this gen, but I got a killer deal on the 12th gen from a friend! Thanks for the suggestion though!
