Hey everyone, I just cleaned my PC, and I was careful with the fans while using compressed air. To get rid of all the dust, I had to use a paper towel and spin the fan manually for about 30-40 seconds. Now they aren't spinning at all. What are the chances that I messed them up?

I usually avoid compressed air for cleaning; I find that a damp Q-tip and some plastic tweezers do a better job without the risk. Just be careful next time!
Looks like you might have overdid it with the compressed air! I usually hold the fans in place to avoid any mishaps. It might be time to grab a cheap 3-pack of fans from Amazon just in case.
The odds of you frying the fans are pretty low. If none of them are spinning, check all the connections—maybe something got unplugged accidentally. It’s more common to mess up a motherboard header than the fans themselves when cleaning, especially if you weren't spinning them too fast.
I’ll check the other headers tomorrow and let you know.
First off, have you checked if they actually work? You might want to try firing them up before getting too worried. Sometimes, it’s just a loose connection after cleaning.
Nope, they're not spinning.
If your fans are connected to a hub, ensure that no cables got knocked loose while you were cleaning. Are these RGB fans? If so, see if the RGB is lighting up at all.
Nope, not a hub—just plugged directly into the motherboard header, and they aren't RGB.
Do you even know what you’re talking about? I was spinning them by hand to clean, so it wasn't that fast.
