A while ago, I archived an Excel file into a RAR file and then used a technique called steganography to convert that RAR file into a JPEG image to hide the file type. Now, I'm unable to extract or access the data from this JPEG file. When I try to open it with WinRAR, I get an error message saying the file is corrupted. I even attempted to repair it using WinRAR but that didn't work either. I'm looking for any suggestions on how to regain access to my data, and I'm even open to trying paid software if needed.

It sounds like you might just need to rename the file back to its original RAR format. If you renamed it during the conversion, try changing it from .jpeg back to .rar and see if WinRAR can open it. Also, I’d suggest using Total Commander for renaming as it handles files better than Windows Explorer. Just be careful with the file as working with it incorrectly could cause further issues!
Yeah, I think you might have changed the file extension when you converted it. Renaming it back could save you a lot of hassle. Just be sure to handle it with care!
