I'm looking at the Ryzen 5 9600X, which is currently on sale for $156. I plan to game, stream, and have over 20 browser tabs open at the same time. Do you think the 9600X can handle all of this, or would I be better off spending an extra $130 for the 9700X? I also have a 5060 Ti and 16GB of RAM.

The 9600X should manage everything just fine. If you're looking for more multicore performance, you might want to consider the Intel i5-14600K or KF, which are often priced under $200 and let you use more affordable motherboards. Plus, if multitasking is a concern, bumping your RAM up to 48GB could really help without breaking the bank—just $20-$30 more! For AMD, I recommend getting RAM that's 6000CL30 for reliability. But don’t stress too much, the 9600X will definitely do the job!
Totally agree on the suggestion for more RAM! It makes a huge difference. And I might consider Intel if you want those extra cores.
