Looking for a Better Screenshot Tool for Fedora KDE

Hey everyone! I'm currently using Fedora with the KDE desktop environment, and I've tried Spectacle for taking screenshots. However, it's become a real headache since it freezes my laptop for long periods when I try to use it, sometimes requiring a force reboot. While I appreciate Spectacle's features, I'm on the lookout for an alternative that won't bog down my system and allows for quick regional screenshots using a keyboard shortcut. Any recommendations?

You should definitely check out Flameshot! It's a great alternative that works well and is more lightweight than Spectacle. You can find it at flameshot.org. Just a heads-up though; if you’re on Wayland, there might be some bugs, but it's definitely worth trying out! Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll give Flameshot a shot.

If you're concerned about Wayland issues, you might also try Gradia. It’s newer but should be closer in functionality. Plus, if you don’t mind a command line, grimblast is an excellent option as well!
