Why won’t my GPU turn on after I shut down my PC?

I have a PNY 4070 Super that suddenly stopped working after shutting down my PC. I tried my old GPU, and it works perfectly fine, so I'm wondering what's going on with the new one. Any ideas?

Double-check everything, even the smallest details can cause problems. Ensure all connections are secure and there aren't any visible damages. If all looks good and it still fails, support may be your best bet!

I agree, but just to add - sometimes it can also be the PCIe slot or power connectors being faulty. Just rule those out before contacting support. If you do have a warranty issue, they'll likely want to know about any modifications or physical damage, so be honest with them!

It sounds like your PNY card might be dead if it doesn't work while other GPUs do. Besides checking the power connections and reseating it, there’s not much else to troubleshoot hardware-wise. If it’s a software issue, you should still be able to access the BIOS, which you can't in this case. You might want to reach out to PNY support since it should still be under warranty.

Could bending the adapter be the culprit? I might have accidentally done that.

Yeah, that honestly could be a factor. If you’ve bent anything, it’s worth checking!
