Is a $100 RTX 2080 a steal or too good to be true?

I'm diving into PC gaming and came across a chance to buy a GIGABYTE RTX 2080 with triple fans for just $100. I'm mainly interested in playing at 1080p and 1440p, focusing on soulsborne games and racing sims. Currently, I have an RX 580, and both cards have 8GB of VRAM. I'm wondering if upgrading to the RTX 2080 is a worthwhile move. What do you think? Would it really enhance my gaming experience?

Yes! I'm still using my 2080 from back in 2018 and it's still doing great! That $100 price tag sounds like a win to me.

If it's functioning well, you should definitely go for it! The RTX 2080 is still a powerhouse, and it should handle what you want to play beautifully. Just ensure you vet the seller carefully, though!

Definitely a steal! Just don't forget to ask for videos of it working and maybe even some performance benchmarks. You won’t find many better deals than this!

$100 is crazy good for that card! Just be aware that the low price could mean it's either a great deal or something might be off. If you’re mainly playing esports, I think it’ll perform well at 1440p!

Totally agree! I think with DLSS support, you could even get decent performance in newer games at higher resolutions!

I'd say check out some benchmarks on the card just to see if it fits your gaming needs.

Absolutely, that's a fantastic deal! Just keep in mind that it might be a bit suspicious since the price is so low. A lot of similar cards are going for around $300 on sites like eBay. Make sure to test it and check its condition before you buy!

Yeah, I’d definitely want proof it’s functioning properly before making that purchase!

Right? That price screams 'too good to be true'. Always better to be safe!
