Hey everyone! I'm curious about the latest updates in Cursor rules for Java 0.8.0. There have been some mentions of new interactive behaviors, consistency in syntax, and added safeguards in system prompts. Has anyone had a chance to check these out? What do you think?

Honestly, I'm not sure how many people are actually using Cursor for Java; it feels a bit niche. I personally can't get into VS Code, especially after using IntelliJ. Switching to something that feels like a VS Code fork seems like a downgrade to me.

I get that! I prefer using Gemini CLI alongside IntelliJ. It's not perfect, but I like it better than wrestling with VS Code.

Totally get where you're coming from! IntelliJ really does offer an amazing developer experience for Java. But if you're looking into AI features, Cursor's really stepping up its game!

I’m not trying to stir up a debate about the best IDEs since I use quite a few of them myself. I'm just really interested in discussing the advancements of this project. Has anyone tried out the new features yet?
