I've recently upgraded to an i9 14900KF with an Arctic Cooler 3 360 AIO, and I'm running into some serious heat issues while rendering in Arnold. During rendering sessions, my CPU temperatures shoot up to 100°C. While it spikes only briefly during IPR, it stays at that temperature for long renders. I know these 14 series CPUs run hot, but I've taken steps like undervolting and adjusting P-core settings to stabilize it while idle. I used the thermal paste recommended in the AIO instructions, but I'm wondering if I've missed something in the BIOS settings or the thermal paste application itself. Is there something else I can do to manage the heat, or is it time to consult a technician? Any tips would be appreciated!

To tackle those high temps, consider reducing the power and temperature limits in your BIOS. The i9 14900KF can pull a lot of power and naturally runs hot, so dialing it back a bit could help. Also, swapping out the stock retention for a contact frame can improve thermal contact and help with those high temperatures.
That makes sense! But if the CPU is constantly hitting 100°C during long renders, do you think it's mainly a cooling issue? I’ve heard reapplying the thermal paste could make a difference too.
