Issues with CrowdStrike Causing BSODs on Multiple PCs?

Hey folks, I've been experiencing some issues lately where my PCs are hitting Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) problems. Specifically, I've had to delete files named **C-00000291*.sys** to resolve these crashes. This isn't the first time I've seen similar issues; it happened around the same time last year too. Has anyone else had to deal with this over the past few days? I got hit with two PCs already since yesterday. Thanks for any insights!

Not experiencing anything like what we saw last year, thankfully.

We manage 600 hosts and have run into zero issues. What update policies are you using with CrowdStrike?

I’m actually not in the security team, just IT support for our hosts. I flagged it to the team today though. We have over 900 hosts at one site and another 1000 at a different location, so I’m hoping it’s just a temporary glitch.

Wow, that file name is a mouthful! You might want to share this in the CrowdStrike forum for more targeted help. We haven’t seen anything like that come up lately though.

Lol, I get it, I posted this issue in a couple of major IT Discord channels just to vent. So far, it’s been a bit of a relief!
