I currently have a Ryzen 75700X paired with an RTX 5060, and I'm feeling like my CPU might be bottlenecking my GPU. I'm planning to upgrade sometime in late 2025 or even 2026 and want to know what CPU recommendations you have. I mainly play games like Fortnite, Counter Strike 2, and Borderlands 2, but I'm also looking forward to diving into some new story-driven games. My setup is pretty much focused on gaming, and I'd prefer to stick to budget-friendly options. I wouldn't mind switching to an Intel CPU if it can boost my FPS.

Honestly, I don't think your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU at the moment. Your Ryzen 75700X is a solid performer, and it should handle most games quite well. But if you're looking to upgrade, going with an AMD CPU is the way to go since they've really ramped up their gaming performance lately.
If you're thinking about an upgrade, a Ryzen 5700X3D could offer you about a 20% boost in performance. However, keep in mind that the actual difference might not be that pronounced with an RTX 5060, especially in less demanding games. Given that you already have a Ryzen 7 5700X, you might want to weigh if that extra cost is worth the small improvement you'll see in FPS.
Thanks for the insight! I'll definitely keep the cost-to-performance ratio in mind when deciding.
