I accidentally spilled about 20ml of coffee on my laptop's keyboard. It's been 18 hours since the spill, and I've left the laptop in a tent position. Unfortunately, I can't remove the battery because it's internal, and the coffee was cold. I've checked the keys, and they're a bit sticky. How long should I wait before trying to turn it on again?

I couldn't manage to open mine either. I was told it's better to let it dry first, then check for any issues later, especially since mine was new too—only got it last month. Just be patient during this process.
Don't wait too long! If you can, carefully open up your laptop and disconnect the battery. Try to wipe away any liquid you can see and use some isopropyl alcohol to clean what’s accessible. Let it dry out completely before attempting to power it on again.
