Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my brother's old gaming PC, which he gave me around 2017-2018. Since it's my first time working with PC parts, I'm looking for recommendations on a GPU that I can buy for around $350-400 CAD. The PC case I have supports a maximum GPU length of 370mm. I'm also going to use an MSI PRO A620M-E motherboard along with an MSI MAG A650BN power supply. I'm open to buying a new or used GPU. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

I suggest visiting some local hardware swap shops. I’ve seen sellers with decent GPUs like RTX 3060 or 3070 listed for sale in CAD. Just make sure to check the seller’s reputation if you can!

Check out the GTX 1080! It's a reliable card, and you might be able to snag one for under 400 CAD. Just make sure it fits your setup. Overall, it's a great GPU for gaming.

If you’re looking for something in that price range, the Intel Arc B580 is a good option. It should handle most mainstream games just fine, but keep in mind it may not work well with older niche titles since the drivers aren’t great for those. It’s a solid pick if you're mainly into current games.

For a quick recommendation, go with a used RTX 3070 if you can find one for around $300. It's a fantastic option and will give you a great gaming experience without breaking the bank.

Honestly, your best bet might be to look for used GPUs. You could find cards like the RX 6750 XT, RX 6700 XT, or even an RTX 3070 for a good price if you shop around. I've had great luck getting good deals on second-hand market. Just keep an eye on the local listings!
