Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a new PC for both gaming and software development. I'm trying to figure out whether I should go for a DRAM SSD or if a standard 2TB SSD would be just as effective for my needs. I'm planning to play games like Flight Simulator 2020/2024 and GTA 6 once it's released. Do these games, along with the software development tasks I have, really require an SSD with DRAM?
Right now, I'm considering the Patriot Viper 2TB for a non-DRAM option and possibly the G70 Pro if I decide to go for a DRAM SSD. How significant is the performance difference with DRAM? Here's my parts list for reference: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/gBmDsp

You won’t really need a DRAM SSD. While it can be faster for certain workloads, you probably won't notice a big difference in everyday use. Just grab a good non-DRAM SSD, and you'll be fine.
Thanks! Do you think my current SSD will work well, or should I look for something better?
