I'm putting together a new PC with a Radeon RX 9070 XT and Ryzen 7 7800X3D. A parts estimate puts the system's power usage at around 650W. Would the MSI MAG 750GL be sufficient, or should I choose a higher-wattage power supply? Please ignore the listed prices, since I found better deals locally.

A quality 850W model such as the Montech Century II 850W Gold would be worth considering if it’s available at a similar price. It gives the graphics card and processor more breathing room without going overboard.
If you already own the 750W supply, it should probably handle the system, since the PC is unlikely to draw 650W continuously. Real-world gaming consumption may be closer to 400–450W before tuning. If you’re buying a new PSU, though, an 850W Gold-rated model is the better choice.
I’d go with an 850W unit. The price difference between 750W and 850W models is often small, and the extra headroom is useful for transient power spikes and future upgrades.
Even if the estimated requirement falls in the 600–699W range, 850W is a sensible target. Power supplies can also lose some capacity as they age, so having additional margin is preferable.

There’s no need to jump all the way to 1050W for this hardware unless the price is unusually good or you’re planning major future upgrades. 850W should be plenty.
