I recently received a notification that after I close Outlook, it will automatically switch to "Outlook New". After restarting, I managed to revert to the old version temporarily, but now I can only receive emails in the new interface. A few months back, I created a registry key at `ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice16.0OutlookOptionsGeneral` with the value `DoNewOutlookAutoMigration=0`, along with some other keys. I thought this would prevent the switch, so why is it still happening? Is Microsoft really forcing this change? I also tried creating a new profile, but the issue persists.

Honestly, it's time to embrace the New Outlook. I know it's not perfect, but once you get used to it, it's not that bad! I haven't run into many issues other than the webview needing updates here and there. Just think of it as an upgrade!
Right? I just wonder if they fixed all the small annoyances. I've been using the New Outlook for a couple of years now and while it has improved, there are still some features from the old version that I miss.
It sounds frustrating! But honestly, Microsoft seems to be moving everyone to the New Outlook whether we like it or not. It might just be a matter of time before they stop supporting the old version altogether. Have you checked with your IT department? They might have more insights on how to handle this situation.
You're just delaying the inevitable. Microsoft usually ignores the keys meant to disable these rollouts eventually. You might as well start adapting to it since it's going to be the standard sooner or later.
I hear you, but can it do custom order subfolders yet? And what about shared or delegated mailboxes? Are they functional? Also, do third-party add-ins like Leap still work?
