I recently got a pre-built CyberPower PC with 16GB of RAM, which is just one stick of T Force Vulkan. I want to add a second stick to bring it up to 32GB, but I can't seem to find another T Force stick anywhere! I'd rather just buy a single stick instead of a whole new set. Is it okay to mix brands as long as it's DDR5 and the clock speeds are similar? I have an Asus Prime A620 Plus WiFi motherboard, so I'm looking for recommendations on a compatible 16GB DDR5 stick. Any specific suggestions?

Mixing RAM can be a bit hit or miss, but generally, as long as both sticks are DDR5 and have similar clock speeds, you should be fine. There's no guarantee they’ll work perfectly together, but many users have had success. Just make sure to check your motherboard manual for any compatibility notes. It might be good to try it out and see how it goes!

If you're looking for a cost-effective option and decide to buy a whole new set, I recommend checking out brands like Corsair or G.Skill. Usually, you can find solid 16GB dual-channel kits for around $80 to $110, depending on deals. They tend to perform well together and are widely compatible.
