I'm planning to start a business focusing on repurposing old PCs to run Linux for schools in Africa. I'm curious about the fate of all the end-of-life Windows 10 PCs that will be hitting the market this fall. If a lot of them will be available, where can I purchase them in bulk? So far, I've found govdeals.com, but are there any other sources worth checking out? I've been working with a major US company that's replacing a ton of Dell and HP systems, so I'm unsure what they'll do with the old machines.

Just a heads up, a lot of these PCs won't work with Windows 11. They could be pretty old, and you might run into failing parts.
Also consider all the other devices out there. Digital signage and info displays could hit the market too. Saw one with a BSOD recently, and just thought how many of those might come up for sale.
You can definitely get these PCs in bulk already. Many businesses are getting rid of their outdated machines, and companies like GovDeals are a great option.
I mentioned GovDeals first! This isn't adding much to the conversation.
Honestly, I'd expect that's what's happening. It's a bit ironic; my coworkers and I rushed to replace our Windows 10 PCs to meet the original deadline, and now Microsoft just extended the support to October!
Yeah, it had to happen anyway. The extension just means you were ahead of the game, but vendors are still dragging their feet on Windows 11 support.
Selling these old machines is just like what any contracting company does; they put them up for bid to the highest offers.
There’s already been an influx. Did you seriously just wake up yesterday? It's been all over the place.
I haven't seen anything about this! Where are you finding all these cheap PCs?

Old machines have their charm, right?
