Is buying a used Samsung SSD worth it for my gaming laptop?

I'm thinking about getting a used Samsung 980 MZ SSD from CEX for $58 AUD. A new one costs around $130 AUD. The used drive comes with a 5-year warranty and I only want to use it for storing games on my gaming laptop—my PC handles the heavier tasks. I also have the option to return it within 48 hours if I find any issues. Do you think it's a good deal?

Totally! If you don’t plan on using it for sensitive info and it looks good when you check it, why not? Plus, you’ve got the warranty and that return option if something’s off.

Yeah, the only sensitive stuff would be save files, but I can always back them up on my main drive. By the way, do you think there's any risk of the SSD having malware, since it's a used one?
