Looking for Feedback on My First PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm venturing into my first PC build and would love to get some feedback. I'm worried about compatibility issues and whether I might be able to save some cash by choosing different parts. Here's the build I'm considering: [link to the build].

I'm based in Portugal, and I plan to source most of my components from various European Amazon sites to avoid high customs fees when ordering from outside the EU. If you know of any European websites that might offer better prices than Amazon, I'd appreciate any recommendations!

This PC will primarily serve for gaming, particularly for titles like Baldur's Gate 3 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, while also being used for productivity tasks like 3D rendering and game development. I selected the AMD Ryzen 9 9950x3d because I've heard great things about its performance for both workloads.

One area I'm uncertain about is the GPU. Do you think I should upgrade to a better card? I'm a bit concerned that 16GB of VRAM might not be sufficient, and I'm not quite sure how the Nvidia and AMD GPUs compare. If you see any other parts that could be improved or swapped out, I'd love your thoughts!

As for your GPU worries, it's tough to predict correctly. Nvidia tends to limit their VRAM on some cards, but they generally perform better for productivity tasks, especially if your software relies on CUDA cores. Recently, AMD has caught up in many areas, though! Here’s a detailed build suggestion: [PCPartPicker link]. Aim for decent VRAM but balance it with speed—it really depends on what you prioritize more in your tasks.

Appreciate the insight! I’ll look into that.

Everything looks great overall! Just a heads-up, some components could be cheaper. Always keep an eye out for deals and check other local retailers to save a few bucks!

Your build looks solid! If you want to save some money, consider ditching the white aesthetics or finding cheaper options within that theme. I switched some parts around for better pricing—check this link: [revised build link]. Just a heads-up, the power supply and case fans you chose are a bit more expensive than necessary. An 850W PSU is more than enough! Also, the RTX 5080 isn't the best value; the RTX 5070 Ti offers nearly the same performance for less cost. Right now, 16GB of VRAM is sufficient for 1440p gaming, and while future games might push those limits, you're in a good spot for now.

I also recommend adjusting your region on PCPartPicker to get accurate pricing for Portugal!
