Is it worth getting a $200 warranty for my new OLED monitor?

I'm thinking about purchasing the Philips Evnia OLED 27M2N8500/00, which is priced at $700 for a 3-year warranty or $900 for a 6-year warranty. I'm trying to decide if spending an extra $200 for an additional 3 years of warranty coverage is worth it. One thing to consider is that if the monitor breaks, I'll get a brand-new one after 6 years, and even if it doesn't break, I could purposely damage a pixel to claim a replacement. This could give me around 9 to 12 years of good use from the same model, and since I just built a powerful gaming setup, I don't plan to upgrade my PC for at least the next decade. What do you all think?

I've never bought a warranty for anything in my life, and I'm doing just fine. But I get that OLEDs can have issues like dead pixels, which makes this particular case worth thinking about. Just my two cents!

Totally agree! I usually skip warranties too, but given the reputation of OLEDs, it might not be the craziest idea.
