Looking to Upgrade My PC on a Budget

I'm currently using an Intel i5-7500 paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4GB). I want to upgrade my setup but I need to stick to a budget. I have 16GB of RAM and I just bought a 1TB SSD. Ideally, I'm looking to spend under $300, although I could stretch it a bit if necessary. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

If you’re looking for better performance overall, upgrading your GPU is key. But also think about how the games you play perform. For high-demand games, your CPU might also be a bottleneck. You could check out upgrading to an i7 if it fits in your budget or just stick with a GPU for now.

Yeah, I'm more inclined to start with the GPU since that's what affects gaming the most. Thanks for the input!

It’s great that you’re looking to upgrade! Since your budget is around $300, I’d suggest focusing on getting a better graphics card. You could consider options like the AMD Radeon RX 6600 or NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super, which should provide a noticeable boost for games like NBA 2K and Fortnite.

Yeah, those cards would definitely improve your gaming experience without breaking the bank!
